Unibet’s been around online for decades – it’s one of the oldest online gambling arenas in the UK.
Unibetâs Casino, Bingo, Sportsbetting and Poker operations have been serving over 11 million players in 100 countries across their different gambling options – which is pretty amazing to think that it had very humble beginnings!
The company was started by founder Anders Ström in his living room in London, before becoming a fully fledged operation and going online in 2004. Over the next few years, the company was built up and merged with online gambling companies, including 32Red, Stan James and more.
Unibet is pretty into sponsoring popular sports teams too, with sponsorships as far flung as the New Jersey Devils and Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and beyond – Unibet even sponsors Warwickshire County Cricket Club!
Not only that, but Unibet is a regular award-winner too – it’s been voted âbest sports betting operatorâ by eGaming Overview in 2006, 2008 and 2009, and also won the 2009âs Best Live betting operator award, to boot.
If that all sounds very sports-heavy, then you’re right – it is. Unibet (as you might sense from the name) is primarily a sportsbetting site, however the casino section is nothing to be sniffed at and – even better, it doesn’t look like a traditional casino either, which some people can find overwhelming.
But, having said all that, how does their casino site stack up? Well, as it turns out, it’s award-worthy too!

As a mostly sports betting offering, you might think that Unibet’s casino site doesn’t have much in the way of games on offer but you’d be very wrong in thinking that:
Not only is Unibet really nicely laid out (which to be honest, not all strictly casino-only casinos are, or even do this as well as Unibet, which isn’t just a casino), but it’s also packed to the brim with so many games that it might make your head spin.
Unibet try to help you as much as possible by having really nicely set out sections – there’s the âRecommended for you’ section, the Unibet Picks (full of some nice-looking Unibet Exclusive games, too), as well as the Daily Drops and Wins, and sections just for those Exclusive games.
If you have selected playing goal in mind, then Unibet Casino have these game categories to choose from:
WOW. There are over 1000 games on offer here – thatâs pretty amazing, especially for a sportsbook-first casino (and pretty amazing for any casino, come to think of it). On top of that, Unibet really helped us out with easy filters within each of the game sections. Nice one, Unibet!
If any of that has made your head spin (and we really don’t blame you), then Unibet has a range of recommended games for you, as well as their top picks.
At the time of writing, the top slots at Unibet Casino were – :
Best online casino for games: Party Casino
Although Unibet doesn’t publicly state what their payout rate is, we spied the eCOGRA logo in their footer, meaning all of their games are independently audited and tested for fairness and randomness, which is always good to know.
We took it on ourselves to try and find out the RTP of the casino, which we estimated to be 97.5%. We did this by choosing 10 games at random and clicking into their information section to see their listed RTP – Return To Player. We then averaged these amounts and came up with the casino’s overall RTP payout rate. A figure of 97.5% indicates that Unibet is very generous, and very fair.

Unibet Casino has a range of deposit and withdrawal options for CA players, including ewallets and more!
Unibet Casino is highly committed to making sure their players are safe and secure online. This is done in a variety of ways – from strict international regulation, to international partnerships and player resources.Â
Unibet is regulated by both the United Kingdom Gambling Commission and the Gibraltar Gambling Commission, two of the most respected and strictest regulatory organisations in the industry.Â
Additionally, Unibet’s entire site is SSL encrypted, meaning your connection is always completely secure, and any data – personal, financial, gaming activity – you provide the site with is completely unhackable.Â
Otherwise, Unibetâs games are regularly tested for fairness and randomness by eCOGRA, and the casino is a member of several international regulatory organisations, including the European Gaming Betting Association, the International Betting Integrity Association and Protect Integrity.Â
Unibet pains themselves to protect their players should they develop problem gambling habits, proudly sporting logos to organisations including GamStop, Gambling Therapy, GamCare, GamBan and the RGA. Additionally, Unibet has their own very in-depth Responsible Gambling policy.Â
This, along with the encouragement of players to set deposit limits and the ability for them to even easily self-exclude from the casino, demonstrates that Unibet highly values protecting their playersâ safety and security while theyâre in Unibetâs hands!Â
As you should probably expect from all of the above, Unibetâs mobile game, and platforms are fantastic. We really couldn’t find any fault with them – and believe us, that’s pretty much what the purpose of these reviews are, to really look deep into a casino site and find something that you, as a player, needs to know about.
But across both Unibetâs mobile site and native iOS/Android apps, there really was nothing to pick on. Both mobile platforms stream beautifully, handle every single device and operating system that we throw at it (tablets and phones across iOS, Windows, Android) fantastically and don’t even lag, crash or drain any batteries. Now thatâs impressive.
All of the games are present and correct across both platforms, with each platform looking and behaving just like the desktop site. So the apps looked different in their functionality and organisation to the mobile site and desktop, but thatâs just something that apps do, and you’ll be able to find your way around just fine (because we could). Even better – on both the apps and the mobile site, the game tiles were sized just right so that we could easily swipe, select and scroll with no accidental selections. Howâs that for a casino-site-done-perfectly?
Unfortunately, Unibet Casino (weirdly) does not have a loyalty programme for their casino (while they do for both their Bingo and Poker sites). This is the first time we’ve found ourselves disappointed with Unibet Casino.
There’s literally nothing on the site about anything loyalty-related, so we headed over first to the Terms and Conditions (our go-to for checking anything promotions-related) and then to live chat to confirm this – sadly, our suspicions were confirmed.
Weâre similarly as little disappointed here- although Unibet Casino does have a VIP scheme – it’s completely secret. When we spoke to Keith over live chat, he explained that if we were eligible, we would be contacted to join the club.
Other than that, he wouldnât give us any more details about what we could expect as VIP members of Unibet. Some anonymous players online have told us that goodies include personal Account Managers, exclusive bonuses and even offline gifts and event invitations, so that sounds really awesome.we just wish we could hear about it from the casino themselves.
Unibet has one of the best FAQ sections that we’ve ever seen – it’s actually a whole subdomain in itself.
The questions and answers were really well categorized, as well as intuitive, with a cool âyou might also be interested inâŠâ set of questions below it (which, 90% of the time, we were actually interested in!).
Otherwise there’s a super fast live chat – we spoke to both Keith and Ryan across two different times, with an average wait time of 1.5 seconds. Both Keith and Ryan were professional, quick and helpful, sorting out issues in a jiffy.
Otherwise thereâs also an email address.
Honestly, Unibet gets 100% with their customer service, which is a real rarity when reviewing online casinos.
Wow. We’ve never seen such a near-perfect casino – and thatâs even weirder, considering that Unibet is better known for their sportsbook!
Everything from the range of games (and those filters) to the banking methods, to the commitment to player security, to the welcome bonus and more – we’re kind of left speechless, which doesn’t really happen that often.
Everything really, from the customer support to the ease of working our way round the site and the sheer number of games, was truly amazing.
But, like we said – thatâs only near perfect: we think if it’s possible that we had one nitpick, it would be the lack of a traditional Comp Points scheme for the casino product (when the site has one for Bingo and Poker), as well as that super secretive VIP scheme that we’re not allowed to know anymore about. But honestly, we’ll even leave both of those things by the wayside if it comes down to it, this site is just so good to play at.
Unibet is 100% committed to legitimacy. It’s regulated by both the UKGC and the Gibraltar Gambling Commission, as well as a whole host of other international gaming betting associations (for a full list of these, check out the âSafety and Securityâ section). On top of that, the site lists a whole variety of organisations dedicated to helping players who develop problematic gambling habits (list of these available in the above âSafety and Securityâ section).Â
All of Unibet’s games are audited by independent, trusted third-party eCOGRA, and openly report each of their gamesâ Return To Player percentages too.Â
Unibet also insists, as a UKGC-regulated casino, that players have to verify their ID and proof of address before requesting a withdrawal, and sometimes will even insist on this before you make your first deposit.
Between 24 hours to 5 working days, depending on the payment method you choose. Additionally, you’ll have to complete the ID and address verification process before Unibet will follow you anywhere near the cashierâs withdrawal section.
There are two ways to do this: you could either do this from your player account, by going to your account settings and looking for the âclose accountâ link, then following this process to completion. Once itâs been done, you’ll receive an email to your account-registered address letting you know our account is closed.
The other way is to get in touch with customer support and to get them to help you through the process. Youâll still receive an email confirmation of your account closure.
It’s easy – you just need to go to the cashier section and choose âwithdrawalâ.
But – and this is a huge âbutâ: Unibet wonât allow you to access the cashier unless you’ve verified your ID and proof of address. In some cases, Unibet will even insist you do this at the depositing stage. Verifying your account is easy – you can read more about the process here.
Technically you get some free bonus cash in Unibet Casino’s welcome bonus – check out the âWelcome Bonus’ section, above, for more information.
Otherwise, these could be made available via the Promotions page on the site, or even to your marketing communication channels. As a VIP player (if you’re lucky enough to be invited to the club), these could also be given to you via your Account Manager.
Specifically for the Welcome Bonus, you need to deposit $10 at the cashier, and then you’ll be awarded up to $100 extra to play with. Having said that, you should still check out the âWelcome Bonusâ section, above, for details of the Terms and Conditions of the welcome bonus.
Otherwise, other bonuses on offer will tell you exactly how to use them – including any wagering requirements or other conditions you should know about. Always check a bonusâ Terms and Conditions before agreeing to claim it.
You do this in the same way as you would an original withdrawal – go to the cashier, choose âwithdrawalâ, select your preferred payment method and complete the process until you see the confirmation screen.
But – if you’ve taken a bonus form Unibet, then remember that you’ll need to have satisfied Unibetâs bonusâ Terms and Conditions (see more details of these in the âWelcome Bonusâ section, above), before requesting a withdrawal. You might also have to verify your identity and proof of address, if you haven’t already done so during the depositing process.
This depends – you could get them via the Promotions section on the site, or details of them will be sent to your marketing communications channels. If you’re a VIP player, your Account Manager might award your free spins from time to time.
